Dr Joshua Arthur is a Sessional Academic and Researcher at Queensland University of Technology (QUT), affiliated with the School of Chemistry & Physics within the Faculty of Science. His research focuses on organic electronics, sensor technology, and materials science, particularly in the development of hygroscopic insulator-based sensors and organic thin film transistors. He holds a PhD from QUT (2022) and has contributed to advancements in capacitive pressure sensors, nanotechnology-integrated devices, and optoelectronic applications. Notable achievements include the QUT Medal (2017) and the Dean’s Commendation Award (2022).
His academic journey includes a Bachelor of Science (Physics) from QUT, followed by an Honours project on electroluminescence in organic LEDs. Current work involves collaborative research with Dr Soniya Yambem, exploring sensor mechanisms and material innovations.
