Sheida Faraji

Sheida Faraji is an Assistant Professor at Istanbul Technical University, Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Her research focuses on organic electronics, with an emphasis on organic field-effect transistors (OFETs), dielectric materials, and sensor technologies. She specializes in developing sustainable, low-voltage electronic systems using eco-friendly polymers and functional materials.

Her work contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in advancing affordable and clean energy (SDG 7) and industry innovation (SDG 9). She has collaborated internationally, with notable contributions to hybrid organic/metal-oxide sensor systems and fluorescent ion sensors.

Recent publications highlight advancements in nanocomposite dielectrics for OFETs, gas sensors operating at room temperature, and optoelectronic applications like artificial synapses. Her research bridges material science and electronics, addressing challenges in low-power devices and environmental monitoring.
