Leszek Majewski is a Lecturer in Embedded Systems at the University of Manchester's Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. With a PhD from the University of Sheffield, his research focuses on organic electronic materials, printed electronics, and sensors for sustainable and biomedical applications.
His research encompasses:
- Organic Electronics: Developing novel organic field-effect transistors (OFETs) using high-k dielectrics and biodegradable polymers
- Sensing Systems: Designing gas sensors and biosensors based on organic semiconductors
- Neuromorphic Computing: Creating organic memristive devices for brain-inspired computing architectures
- Sustainable Materials: Implementing natural biopolymers like khaya gum for eco-friendly electronics
Recent publications (2019-2025) demonstrate advancements in low-voltage organic transistors, biodegradable dielectrics, and neuromorphic devices, with consistent focus on material innovation and device optimization.
