Dr. Josephine Jarpa Dawuni is an Associate Professor of Political Science at Howard University and a qualified Barrister-at-Law. She directs the Howard University Center for Women, Gender, and Global Leadership and founded the Institute for African Women in Law (IAWL). Her work addresses gender equity in judiciaries globally, with fieldwork in over 10 African countries.
