Dr. Joseph Nguyen is a Professor of Chemistry and Assistant Provost of Academic Assessment at Mount Mercy University. He holds a PhD from the University of Kansas, an MS from Indiana State University, and a BS from Creighton University. His research focuses on nanoparticulate materials, metal-organic frameworks, and collaborative projects with institutions like the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. Nguyen has received prestigious awards including the Distinguished Iowa Science Teacher Award (2014) and the Feld Chair for Mission (2014–2016).
