Joseph McMullen is a Lecturer in Law at Bournemouth University, specialising in air quality management and environmental law. He is affiliated with the Environment Threats and Strategic Research Group, European Environmental Law Forum, Centre for Science, Health and Data Communication Research, and the British Ecological Society. His research focuses on particulate pollution (PM2.5) regulation and legal frameworks mitigating public health threats. He teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses, including the LLM in Wills, Trusts, and the Administration of Estates, and co-leads the LLB Legal Skills and Systems module. Joseph coordinated the 2021 European Environmental Law Forum Conference and the 2024 Synthethics - AI and Human Rights Conference with Kyiv National Economic University.
