Dr. Joseph Malaer is an Assistant Professor at the University of North Texas Health Science Center (UNTHSC), affiliated with the College of Biomedical and Translational Sciences and the Department of Microbiology, Immunology & Genetics. His research focuses on cancer immunology, particularly enhancing natural killer (NK) cell targeting of cancer stem cells to address metastasis and relapse. He also investigates cancer health disparities and host-pathogen interactions.
