Professor Graham Cook is the Professor of Molecular and Cellular Immunology at the University of Leeds, School of Medicine. He leads the Molecular and Cellular Immunology research group and teaches immunology to medical and Master's students. His research focuses on natural killer (NK) cells, their role in anti-viral and anti-tumour immunity, and mechanisms of tumour immune evasion. He holds a PhD from the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology and University of Cambridge, and a BSc (Hons) in Microbiology from Imperial College.
Research Interests: Investigating NK cell biology, cytokine regulation, and tumour-NK cell interactions. Collaborates on immune responses in melanoma and glioblastoma. Aims to develop therapies enhancing anti-tumour immunity.
Teaching: Immunology and cancer biology for medical students, MSc programs, and undergraduate life sciences.
Labs/Teams: Heads the Molecular and Cellular Immunology group, collaborating with Professors Julia Newton-Bishop and Tim Bishop on cancer immunology projects.
