Joseph Jones

Joseph Jones serves as an Adjunct Professor at ArtCenter College of Design since 2003, specializing in Animation and International Initiatives. He concurrently holds the role of Vice President and Executive Creative Director at The Ayzenberg Group since 2014. Previously, he co-founded Shadedbox Animations in 2001.

Education:

• Bachelor of Arts in Architecture, The Ohio State University
• Masters in Experimental Animation and Narrative Studies, ArtCenter College of Design

Research and creative interests span animation techniques, VFX, 3D modeling, stop motion (toy-mation), and narrative-driven projects. His work includes over 500 animated commercials and films such as Little Red Plane, showcased globally in festivals.

Teaching focuses on Maya and 3D animation (courses ILL-210-01/05). Clients have included Microsoft, Disney, Mattel, and Paramount Pictures.
