Ronald Slenzak

Ronald Slenzak is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at ArtCenter College of Design, where he teaches courses such as Intro to Maya & 3D Animation and Introduction to Matte Painting. With a nearly four-decade career in photography, he has produced iconic imagery for Motown artists (Marvin Gaye, Smokey Robinson), musical legends (Jefferson Starship, Huey Lewis), and film posters (e.g., Purple Rain). Notable clients include Disney, Paramount Pictures, and King World (Oprah’s early campaigns).

His work spans commercial photography, album covers, and motion picture promotions, recognized nationally and internationally. Based in Venice, CA since 1995, Slenzak now focuses on mentoring emerging visual artists at his alma mater.
