Joseph Jenkins

Joseph Jenkins is a Researcher at the University of California, Irvine (UCI) School of Education, with a multifaceted academic background in comparative literature, law, critical theory, and theater-based pedagogy. Formerly an Adjunct Assistant Professor at UCI, he has also held teaching roles at the UCI Law School and Department of English.

Research Interests
Jenkins explores the intersections of inheritance law, political theology, and cultural influences on education. His work emphasizes marginalized student competencies through innovative pedagogies, such as the Theater of Translation (TOT) project, which engages Latinx high schoolers in multilingual writing and performance.
