Joseph J. Eron, MD, is a Professor of Medicine and Adjunct Professor of Epidemiology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine, affiliated with the UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center and Gillings School of Global Public Health. He directs the Clinical Core of the UNC Center for AIDS Research and leads international HIV clinical trials in Chapel Hill, Greensboro, Malawi, and Vietnam.
