Joseph J. Martins is a Professor of Law and Associate Dean for Academic Affairs at Liberty University School of Law, where he has taught since fall 2011. He previously worked as a constitutional litigator in public interest law and a civil litigator in private practice.

At Liberty University, Martins teaches Civil Procedure, Foundations of Law, and Jurisprudence. He previously clerked for Tennessee Supreme Court Justice E. Riley Anderson and has litigated cases resulting in published federal court decisions.
