معرفی
Dr Joseph Grant is a Lecturer in Pure Mathematics at the University of East Anglia, affiliated with the School of Engineering, Mathematics and Physics and the Algebra, Number Theory, Logic, and Representations (ANTLR) research group. He holds a PhD and has held postdoctoral positions including a JSPS Fellowship at Nagoya University (2010–2011) and a Research Fellowship in Algebra at the University of Leeds (2012–2014).
Education & Academic Background:
- JSPS Postdoctoral Fellow, Nagoya University (2010–2011)
- Research Fellow in Algebra, University of Leeds (2012–2014)
Research Interests: Joseph's research focuses on advanced algebraic structures and categorification, including:
- Representation theory of algebras
- Derived categories and homological/homotopical algebra
- Cluster algebras and cluster categories
- Category theory and categorification
Grants & Projects:
- Computational searches for fractional Calabi-Yau algebras (LMS, 2023)
- Research in Pairs – Scheme 4 (LMS, 2022)
- Financial Support for Conferences – Scheme 1 (LMS, 2016)
Teaching: Joseph has taught a wide range of courses including Differential Geometry, Linear Algebra, Real Analysis, and specialized topics like Quivers and Representations. His teaching spans both undergraduate and graduate levels at the University of East Anglia.
Research Contributions: His work bridges algebraic structures with categorical methods, emphasizing categorification and derived equivalences. Recent projects explore fractional Calabi-Yau algebras and applications of braid groups to quiver mutations.
