Joseph G. Eisenhauer

Dr. Joseph G. Eisenhauer is Dean of the College of Business Administration at University of Detroit Mercy, holding a PhD in Economics from SUNY Buffalo. His research examines economic policy, banking risk, and ethical decision-making, with over 100 publications cited more than 3,000 times globally. Recognized among top risk/insurance scholars, he founded multiple university centers including the Center for Social Entrepreneurship and Financial Markets Lab.

Under his leadership, the College tripled freshman enrollments and consistently ranked among top 30 U.S. management programs. Professional background includes economics chair positions at Wright State University and Canisius College, with visiting appointments at Catholic University of America and Università di Roma.
