Joseph FITOUSSI

Joseph FITOUSSI is a Lecturer at Arts et Métiers since June 1, 1992, affiliated with the PIMM laboratory (Procédés et Ingénierie en Mécanique et Matériaux) within the Polymers & Composites research team. His three-decade tenure demonstrates deep institutional commitment to materials engineering research.

His research focuses on Polymer Science and Composite Materials, leveraging advanced experimental platforms for physico-chemical characterization, mechanical testing, and polymer processing. The Polymers & Composites team investigates material behavior under industrial processing conditions, contributing to broader fields of Materials Science and Mechanical Engineering through national and international collaborations.

The PIMM laboratory provides state-of-the-art facilities including MESO 3D Shared Platform for polymer processing, laser systems (Hephaestus' Laser Shock, Thermal Laser Processes), and comprehensive characterization tools. Dr. FITOUSSI participates in thesis supervision and contributes to Arts et Métiers' engineering cycle training and doctoral programs within this dynamic research ecosystem.
