Joseph Crossno

Joseph Crossno, M.D., Ph.D., is an Associate Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a member of its Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. He specializes in pulmonary vascular development, end-stage lung disease, and lung transplantation, with clinical expertise in critical care medicine. Dr. Crossno holds degrees from the University of Tennessee and completed residency at Virginia Commonwealth University and fellowship at the University of Colorado. His research focuses on lung repair, regeneration, and pulmonary hypertension, with over 19 peer-reviewed publications. He is a Fellow of major medical societies, including the American College of Chest Physicians and the American Thoracic Society.
