Dr. Joseph Cacioppo serves as Chair of Community and Global Medicine and Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at Campbell University School of Osteopathic Medicine (CUSOM). He holds certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support, Advanced Burn Life Support, Disaster Relief Grief Counseling, Leadership Disaster Response, and Emergency Medical Dispatch.
Education: Earned Doctor of Osteopathy from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine after graduating from Kent State University. Completed residency at Grandview Hospital. Formerly served in the United States Coast Guard.
Leadership Roles: Served as Chief of Staff at Seneca District Hospital (Chester, CA) and Medical Director in Emergency Departments at Doctors Hospital North (Columbus, OH), Humboldt General Hospital (Winnemucca, NV), and Humboldt County (NV). Office located at Leon Levine Hall of Medicine, Campbell University.
