معرفی
Jose Jimenez Zarco is a Reader in Synthetic Biology at the Department of Life Sciences, Faculty of Natural Sciences, Imperial College London. Previously, he served as a Lecturer (2014) and Senior Lecturer (2018) at the University of Surrey before joining Imperial in 2020. His research focuses on synthetic biology and evolution, investigating quantum mechanisms in proteins, gene expression tradeoffs, and microbial community dynamics. Applications of his work include combating antibiotic-resistant pathogens and bioremediation of plastic waste.
