Jose Ignacio Hualde

Jose Ignacio Hualde is a Professor at the University of Illinois, holding joint appointments in Spanish and Portuguese, Linguistics, French and Italian, the European Union Center, and the Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies. His research focuses on synchronic and diachronic phonology, sound change, prosody, and Romance and Basque linguistics.
