Joris Ebbers is Full Professor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Luiss Business School, where he also serves as Academic Dean of the Amsterdam campus. Previously, he represented the University of Amsterdam in the Amsterdam Center for Entrepreneurship, a collaboration network of Amsterdam-based universities.
His research focuses on:
- Entrepreneurship and startup ecosystems
- Business innovation and scaling strategies
- Business modeling and planning methodologies
- Mentorship frameworks for early-stage companies
He has designed and taught specialized courses including Scaling up Businesses (MBA), Business Modelling and Planning (MBA), and Mentoring Startups (Masterclass), and has developed teaching cases on startup and scaleup scenarios. Professor Ebbers serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Business Venturing as a reviewer.
