Dr. Jorge Valenzuela is a Teaching Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Kansas State University, with affiliations to the College of Engineering. He holds a Ph.D. (2014) and M.S. (2000) from Kansas State University in Computer Science, and a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Monterrey Tech, Mexico (1990).
His professional experience includes roles as software engineer/team leader at Petro Ensambels (1991-1997), software engineer at Motorola (2000-2003), and systems programmer for K-State's Center of Intercultural and Multilingual Advocacy. He served as adjunct instructor in computer science (2014-2016) before his current position.
