Jorge Pereira da Silva

Jorge Pereira da Silva is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law, Universidade Católica Portuguesa, where he served as Dean of the Lisbon School of Law (2014–2022). He holds a PhD, master's degree, and undergraduate degree from the same institution. His research centers on Constitutional Law, Fundamental Rights, and Political Science, with a focus on the separation of powers and state theory.

His work contributes to the Católica Research Centre for the Future of Law (CEID-CRCFL), a project exploring intersections of law, courts, artificial intelligence, and justice. He actively supervises graduate students, including projects on public institutional responsibility and fundamental rights in Angola.

Recent publications include historical analyses of constitutional principles and edited volumes honoring academic leaders. His scholarly output emphasizes the evolution of democratic institutions and digital-era governance challenges.
