Jordi Coral

Jordi Coral is a Researcher at the Department of English Philology and German Studies at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. He holds a Doctorate from the University of York (2002) and a Degree in English Philology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (1995). His research focuses on Elizabethan drama, particularly Shakespearean works, revenge narratives, and Senecan tragedy's influence on early modern literature.

He contributed to the research project Rewriting war: the paradigms of contemporary fiction in English (2018–2021), funded by the Spanish Ministry of Economy and the European Regional Development Fund. His peer-reviewed publications explore topics such as military culture in Shakespeare's plays, anti-usury discourse, and narrative techniques in literary classics like Pride and Prejudice.
