معرفی
Jordan Wehrman is a Lecturer at the School of Psychological Sciences and an Honorary Postdoctoral Fellow at Macquarie University. He is also affiliated with the Macquarie School of Education and the Performance and Expertise Research Centre. His research focuses on cognitive psychology, neuroscience, and time perception, with a particular emphasis on neural correlates of sensory processing, EEG technology, and the effects of anesthesia on consciousness. His work integrates machine learning techniques, such as recurrent neural networks, to model human neural responses.
Key research interests include illusions, stimulus processing, evoked potentials, interval timing, and retrocausation. Collaborations span neuroscience, biomedical engineering, and cognitive science. He has published extensively on topics such as temporal perception, EEG device performance, and the impact of subanesthetic drugs on sensory systems.
His contributions include methodological advancements in EEG analysis and educational tools leveraging neurogaming technology. Despite his prolific output (over 18 publications since 2015), no formal awards are listed. His roles as an academic and casual professional reflect his active engagement in both research and teaching.
