Derek Arnold

Professor Derek Arnold is a cognitive neuroscientist at the School of Psychology, University of Queensland. His research focuses on sensory processing, predictive coding, and the neural mechanisms underlying conscious perception, particularly in visual and temporal domains. Current projects explore aphantasia, synaesthesia, and the relationship between brain activity and imagery vividness.
