Jordan Jones

Jordan Jones, SJ is a Lecturer at Loyola University New Orleans in the Department of Philosophy within the College of Arts and Sciences. He joined the university in 2022 after completing two years of teaching and coaching at Regis Jesuit High School in Denver as part of his Jesuit formation.

• U.S. Marine Corps infantry officer (10 years)
• M.A. in Philosophy from Saint Louis University

Jordan's philosophical interests center on ethics and the human person, with a focus on Thomas Aquinas and hylomorphism. His M.A. thesis examined the relationship between the human heart and the soul in Aquinas' framework. He is currently teaching Philosophy of the Human Person at Loyola.
