Deborah Wilhelm

Dr. Deborah Wilhelm serves as a Lecturer in practical theology at Loyola University New Orleans within the Loyola Institute for Ministry and as an Adjunct Professor of Preaching and Evangelization at the Aquinas Institute of Theology, where she co-directs the Delaplane Preaching Initiative. Her office is located in Bobet Hall on Loyola's New Orleans campus.

She is the co-author of Preaching Matters (with Bishop Sylvester Ryan) and Living the Word: Scripture Reflections and Commentaries for Sundays and Holy Days, Year A (with Thomas Ryan), and has co-edited a forthcoming Orbis Publishers volume addressing preaching and racism. These publications reflect her commitment to connecting liturgical practice with contemporary social issues.
