Joo-Hyung Lee is an Assistant Professor of Accounting at the Odette School of Business, University of Windsor. He holds a Ph.D. in Accounting from the University of Calgary (2018), M.S. degrees in Finance (2011) and Accounting (2010) from the University of Texas at Dallas, and a B.B.A. in Accounting from Dongguk University (2007).
His research focuses on cost behavior, information asymmetry, slack resource management, corporate governance, and cost stickiness. He has co-authored a case study on K-Pop music industry dynamics and presented at international conferences such as the American Accounting Association and European Accounting Association meetings. Lee has secured competitive grants including the Odette School of Business Research Innovation Grant ($6,000, 2020) and CPA Fellowship Research Grant ($5,000, 2017).
