Kenny Zheng is an Associate Professor and Department Chair at the University of Wyoming's College of Business, Department of Accounting & Finance. He holds the distinguished Daniels Fund Faculty Fellow title and teaches Managerial Accounting.
- Education: Ph.D. and M.S. from the University of Texas at Dallas; B.A. from Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, China.
His research spans accounting and finance, focusing on corporate finance, tax avoidance, cost behavior, earnings manipulation, and organizational decision-making. His work examines how financial risks, management control mechanisms, and regulatory frameworks influence corporate strategies and performance.
Recent publications analyze rollover risk, earnings management, cost stickiness, and international accounting practices. His studies often bridge empirical analysis with theoretical models in managerial and financial accounting.
