Esai Selvarajah is an Associate Professor of Management Science at the Odette School of Business, University of Windsor. His research focuses on supply chain optimization, scheduling algorithms, and operations research. He holds a Ph.D. from McMaster University (2006), an M.S. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Toronto (1999), and a B.A. in Production Engineering from the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka (1994).
His work addresses challenges in multi-echelon supply chain design, inventory management, and cost optimization. Recent publications explore flexibility in capacitated networks and cross-family job scheduling in manufacturing systems. He has received the Odette New Researcher Award (2010) and secured grants totaling $88,000 through NSERC and institutional funding.
Key contributions include developing models to reduce holding/delivery costs and improving batch scheduling efficiency. His presentations at CORS, POMS, and IFORS highlight his engagement with operational research communities.
