Jonathan Wright

Professor Jonathan Wright is a Professor of Building Optimization at Loughborough University, leading the Building Energy Research Group. His research focuses on optimizing building systems, particularly HVAC configurations, fabric construction, and control strategies to minimize energy use and enhance sustainability. Funded projects include ASHRAE-supported work on HVAC system synthesis and EPSRC-funded research on multi-criterion building design optimization.

Key research areas include model-based fault detection, commissioning of HVAC systems, and uncertainty analysis in building performance prediction.
