Jonathan Woytowicz is a Research Fellow at the Chair of Energy Efficient and Sustainable Design and Building (Prof. Werner Lang) at the Technical University of Munich. His work focuses on Building Performance Simulation and Life Cycle Assessment of buildings, with a particular emphasis on resource efficiency and climate-friendly urban development.
- Education: Master’s in Resource-efficient and Sustainable Building (2020-2023) and Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering (2017-2020) at TUM
- Current Role: Research and Teaching Fellow since 2023
- Prior Experience: Working Student (2022-2023) at TUM’s Chair of Energy Efficient and Sustainable Design and Building, and at HOCHTIEF Infrastructure GmbH (2020-2021)
His research contributes to projects like BauKlima-Kommunal, CircularGreenSimCity, and NAWAREUM, addressing urban climate challenges through material flow analysis and circular economy strategies. In 2025, he co-authored a study on GHG Protocol Scope 3 emissions for municipalities, published in Building and Environment.
