Jonathan Wiesen is a Professor in the Department of History at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), affiliated with the College of Arts and Sciences. His research focuses on Modern European History, Nazi Germany, the Holocaust, comparative racism, and transatlantic relations. Before joining UAB in 2019, he taught at Southern Illinois University Carbondale and held visiting positions at Colgate University, the University of Cologne, and the Free University of Berlin.
