Jonathan W. Smith is a Professor at Washington University in St. Louis School of Law and the Director of the Entrepreneurship and Intellectual Property Clinic. Prior to joining the law school, he served as Deputy City Attorney for Redwood City, California, and worked as a corporate attorney at Fenwick & West LLP, advising startups on venture capital financings, entity formation, and M&A transactions. He also taught English at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
