Jonathan Shelley

Jonathan Shelley serves as a Marion L. Brittain Postdoctoral Fellow in the Writing and Communication Program at the Georgia Institute of Technology, teaching technical communication courses for Computer Science majors and bridging humanities scholarship with technical education.

His research centers on:

• Renaissance Literature: Analyzing theories and representations of friendship across prose, poetry, and drama.
• Technical Communication: Developing pedagogy for computing students' professional communication skills.
• Ethics in Computing: Designing interdisciplinary ethics training modules for technical curricula.

Shelley co-authored a three-part series with Dr. Dori Coblentz detailing the implementation of an interactive ethics training module for Georgia Tech's first-year composition and computer science students, demonstrating applied innovation in computing education ethics.
