Kathleen Schaag

Kathleen Schaag is a Research Fellow at the Writing and Communication Program of Georgia Institute of Technology. She is known for launching the feminist erasure poetry platform The Infinite Woman, which remixes texts from Edison Marshall’s novel and Simone de Beauvoir’s work using computational methods.

• Research focuses on conceptual theatre, digital poetics, and queer materiality.
• Her work spans feminist critique, interactive poetry, and multimedia essays.

Kathleen has published scholarly works in Performance Research, Modern Drama, and Inter Views in Performance Philosophy, while her creative works appear in Datableed, Imagined Theatres, and other venues. She contributes to the public humanities platform TECHStyle, which aligns with her emphasis on antiracism and antiracist pedagogy in higher education.
