Dr. Jonathan Sepulveda is an Associate Professor of Graduate Psychology at Felician University (School of Arts & Sciences), serving the Psy.D. program since August 2021. He holds a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Boston College (2021) and an M.A. in Mental Health Counseling from Baruch College (2013). His expertise spans ethnic-racial identity development, antiracism, mentorship, and positive youth outcomes. He teaches doctoral-level courses in clinical theories, research design, and ethics. Notable awards include the Donald J. White Teaching Excellence Award (Boston College).
Dr. Sepulveda’s research focuses on youth purpose programs (e.g., MPOWER) and their impact on motivation and identity formation. He has conducted fieldwork at Jacobi Medical Center, Massachusetts General Hospital, and Veterans’ hospitals, emphasizing multicultural competency and therapeutic techniques like ACT and DBT.
