Jonathan Rosenberg is a Professor of Political Science in the Department of Social Sciences at the Lewis College of Science and Letters, Illinois Institute of Technology. He previously served as Chair of the Department of Social Sciences from 2014-2020. His academic journey includes teaching roles at UCLA, UC Santa Barbara, Whittier College, and the University of Alaska, Fairbanks (1993-2014). His research focuses on Latin America and the Caribbean's political and economic development, environmental sustainability, and global environmental governance.

Research Highlights: Rosenberg explores the impact of development aid on stakeholder participation in environmental sustainability, Cuban political economy, and accountability in global environmental governance. His fieldwork spans Grenada, Dominica, Argentina, and Washington D.C. He co-authored the Grenada National Ecosystem Assessment (2023) under UN auspices, providing policy recommendations for conservation and resilience.
