Jonathan Purtle

Jonathan Purtle is Associate Professor of Public Health Policy & Management at NYU and Director of Policy Research at NYU's Global Center for Implementation Science. His research examines mental health policy implementation and evidence use in policymaking.

Current NIH-funded projects investigate financing of suicide prevention services (988 Lifeline) and tax earmarking for mental health services. Research develops strategies for effective evidence communication to policymakers.
