Jonathan Parks is an Assistant Professor of Musical Direction at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), with a career spanning Broadway, Off-Broadway, and regional theatres. He holds degrees in Piano Performance and Musical Direction for Musical Theatre from Shorter College and a Master’s in Collaborative Piano from Florida State University.
- Born and raised in Georgia, currently based in Birmingham and New York City.
- Active educator with teaching roles at AMDA, Marymount Manhattan College, and New York University.
