Jonathan Hill is a Professor of Physiotherapy and Director for Research in the School of Allied Health Professionals at Keele University. He specializes in musculoskeletal (MSK) pain research, focusing on stratified care models, clinical trials, and digital health solutions. His work has led to global impact, including the STarT Back Trial and the STarT MSK Tool, influencing NICE guidelines and international patient care. He leads projects like the MIDAS programme and Back-UP initiative, advancing MSK care through data integration and decision support systems. Education includes a BSc and MSc in Physiotherapy from Manchester Royal Infirmary, followed by a PhD at Keele University.
