Jonathan Freilich is a Lecturer in Tulane University's Department of Music within the School of Liberal Arts. With 36 years of experience in New Orleans' music scene, he directs ensembles including The Naked Orchestra and New Orleans Klezmer All Stars.
His compositions span orchestral works, 4 operas, and electro-acoustic pieces. Freilich holds an M.A. in composition from Tulane University and a B.F.A. from California Institute of the Arts.
