Jonathan Fink is a Professor and Coordinator of Creative Writing at the University of West Florida, where he also edits Panhandler Magazine and Panhandler Books. His academic career spans over two decades, including a Creative Writing Fellowship at Emory University (2003–2006).

His Joshua Tree National Park Artist-in-Residence (2023) produced a narrative poem about Gram Parsons, blending music history with ecopoetic imagery.
