Jonathan R. Crawshaw is a Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) in Organisational Behaviour and Human Resource Management (HRM) at Aston Business School, Aston University. He serves as Research Degrees Programme Director and is a founding member of the global Organizational Justice and Behavioural Ethics Research Group (OJBERG). With over 15 years of research experience, his work focuses on organizational justice, ethical leadership, and workplace morality. He has published extensively in leading journals and supervised over ten doctoral students.
Education:
- PhD in Organizational Justice and Career Management (Aston University, 2005)
- MSc Personnel Management (Aston University, 2000)
- BSc Geology (Liverpool University, 1995)
Research Interests: Organizational justice, ethical leadership development, career management practices, and workplace interpersonal dynamics.
Grants & Awards: Including ESRC Midlands Graduate School DTP Studentship (2021–2025), Yeoh Tiong Lay PhD Studentship, and EAWOP Early Career Summer School funding (2016).
Advising & Grants: Supervised four completed PhDs and currently guides six students. Active in securing research funding totaling over £200,000. Serves as Pathway Lead for the ESRC Midlands Doctoral Training Partnership.
Labs/Groups: Leads the Organizational Justice and Behavioural Ethics Research Group (OJBERG), organizing biennial global workshops on justice and ethics themes.
