Jonathan Buehl

Jonathan Buehl is an Associate Professor and Vice Chair of Rhetoric, Composition, and Literacy Studies in the Department of English at The Ohio State University. His work focuses on technical writing, scientific writing, pedagogy, and research methods.

Education: PhD, MA (University of Maryland, 2008 and 2002), BA (Drew University, 2000).

Research interests include rhetoric and composition, professional writing, visual rhetoric, and digital communication ethics. He authored Assembling Arguments: Multimodal Rhetoric and Scientific Discourse and co-edited Science and the Internet: Communicating Knowledge in a Digital Age.

Publications span technical communication, composition studies, and digital rhetoric, emphasizing ethical practices and interdisciplinary approaches.
