Jonathan Berman is an Associate Professor of Marketing at London Business School. He holds a BA from Northwestern University, an MSc from the London School of Economics (LSE), and a PhD from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. His research focuses on consumer ethics, moral psychology, and prosocial behavior, examining the tension between self-interest and altruism in decision-making. Berman explores how individuals, businesses, and policymakers can navigate ethical dilemmas to enhance societal impact. His work spans topics like generosity norms, moral hypocrisy, and the psychological underpinnings of ethical choices.
His teaching portfolio includes core and elective courses in marketing and consumer behavior at the graduate level.
