Jonathan Bartling serves as Vice President for Academic Affairs and Accreditation and Professor of Leadership Studies at Trevecca Nazarene University. He chairs the Institutional Review Board (IRB) and previously held academic leadership roles at Olivet Nazarene University for 18 years, including positions as dean, associate provost, and vice president. His credentials include a B.S. in Music Education (Olivet Nazarene), M.S. in Instructional Systems Technology (Indiana University), and Ph.D. in Education (Capella University).
His research focuses on administrative frameworks in Christian higher education and accreditation standards. He is an active peer evaluator for the Higher Learning Commission (HLC-NCA) and Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC).
