Jonathan Askin is a Professor at Brooklyn Law School, specializing in technology, telecommunications, and entrepreneurial law. He founded the Brooklyn Law Incubator & Policy Clinic, providing legal support to startups and innovators. He also leads the Brooklyn Law Center for Urban Business Entrepreneurship and the Brooklyn Law School Justice Lab. Askin has held visiting roles at MIT Media Lab, Queen Mary University of London, and Columbia Law School, and served on technology policy committees for the Obama, Biden, and Eric Adams campaigns. He is a Fulbright Scholar and Fellow at the Columbia Institute for Tele-Information.
Education: Honors graduate of Harvard College and Rutgers Law School.
