Jonathan Anomaly is affiliated with Tulane University's Center for Ethics, where he held the position of Graduate Fellow from 2005 to 2006. He holds a B.A. from UC Berkeley, an M.A. from Columbia University, and a Ph.D. from Tulane University under the supervision of Professor Jerry Gaus. His research focuses on ethics in genetic enhancement, bioethics, and interdisciplinary studies at the intersection of philosophy and public policy.
He has taught Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE) programs at Duke University, UNC Chapel Hill, the University of Virginia, and the University of Arizona. His notable publications include Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (2015) and Creating Future People: The Ethics of Genetic Enhancement (2020).
Anomaly’s work explores ethical implications of emerging biotechnologies and policy frameworks for genetic research. He has contributed to debates on human enhancement, reproductive ethics, and governance of biomedical innovations.
